A Microsoft Teams attendance tracker that sees more than who joined

Teams can tell the organiser who attended a meeting and when they joined and left. For live training, that is often not enough. You also need to know whether people were really there, with their camera on, while you were teaching.

AttendSure tracks attendance and camera status in live Microsoft Teams meetings and turns every session into a clear, timestamped record. There is nothing to install and nothing to set up in Teams. You paste the meeting link and admit AttendSure from the lobby.

Free 14-day trial. No credit card required.

Can you track attendance in Microsoft Teams?

Partly. After a scheduled meeting, the organiser can download Teams' attendance report, with join and leave times and how long each person stayed. It doesn't show when anyone's camera was off or for how long, and an admin or attendee setting can leave people out of it.

How AttendSure tracks attendance in Teams

  • Live View. See every participant's camera status in real time.
  • Camera-off timers. When a camera goes off, that person's timer starts automatically.
  • Alerts. If someone stays off camera beyond your threshold (5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes), you're alerted. You can also choose to post a general reminder to the meeting chat. It never names anyone.
  • Presence Check. Once in each interval, AttendSure asks everyone in the chat to reply. Each reply is recorded against the person's name, and you see who missed it.
  • Trainer Break Control. Timers and Presence Checks pause during breaks, so break time never counts against anyone.
  • Keeps going if your laptop sleeps. Once AttendSure is in the meeting, monitoring carries on even if you close the tab.
  • Detailed reports. Arrival and leave times, attendance duration, camera events and Presence Checks, ready to export to Excel.
