Refund & Cancellation Policy

Here is exactly how the free trial, cancellations and refunds work on AttendSure.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. Free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and no card is required to start it: nothing is charged during the trial, there is nothing to refund, and if you do nothing at the end of the trial monitoring simply stops. Your existing records stay available to read and export.

You add a card only when you choose a paid plan from Billing. From then on the plan renews automatically until you cancel. If a renewal is charged that you meant to cancel, see section 4.

2. Monthly plans

Monthly plans are billed in advance for each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel:

Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for
No further charges are applied once you cancel
The unused part of a month you have already paid for is not refunded

3. Annual plans

Annual plans are billed in advance for the year. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we will refund that payment in full. Outside that 14-day window, annual plans are not refunded for the unused part of the year, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

4. Renewal charges you did not intend

If your plan renews and you did not mean it to, email us within 7 days of the renewal charge. Provided the new paid period has not been materially used, we will refund that renewal charge in full and cancel the subscription. This applies to monthly and annual renewals, and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. AttendSure Hours

AttendSure Hours are prepaid time for Microsoft Teams and Google Meet monitoring. Complimentary hours - the 5 every organisation receives at sign-up and the 10 more on its first paid plan - have no cash value and are not refunded.

If you have not used any of an hour pack, we will refund it in full when you ask within 14 days of buying it. If Auto Top-Up charged you and you did not intend it, email us within 7 days of the charge; provided none of those hours has been used, we will refund that charge in full. A pack that has been partly used is not refunded, and refunded hours are removed from your balance. Hours are used in the order they were added: complimentary hours first, then each pack in the order it was bought.

Cancelling your subscription does not refund unused purchased hours. They stay on your account for 12 months and can be used again if you subscribe again within that time; after 12 months they expire. This is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 6).

6. Your Consumer Law rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a refund, replacement or other remedy, that right applies in addition to everything above - regardless of which plan you are on or when you cancel.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund under this policy, email support@attendsure.net with your organisation name and, if you have one, your invoice number. We reply the same business day on Business, within one business day on Team, and within three on Solo and Starter.
